Message From Chairman & Managing Director
When one is inspired by magnanimous purpose coupled with a vision, then all his contemplations break the shackles and the mind surpass to achieve the mission. It was a valuable advice from my father to render assistance to the needy and to transcend the deprived from darkness to light. With the available resources, I opted for a career in Optometry & Allied Health from one of the reputed institutions in India.
“To honor my father’s dream and continue his legacy, I established the Kuber & Manishang Foundation, abbreviated as KM Foundation. This foundation is a public charitable trust registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882. Under this foundation, I established Dr. Helena Eye Hospital & Institute, located at North AOC, Imphal West-795001.”

Courses Offered At Dr. Helena Optometry College
Bachelor in Optometry
Its curriculum is designed to impart knowledge related to eye and it’s connected organs, the correction of refractive errors, and the treatment and management of eye diseases. This degree comprises four years of education including one year of clinical internship at a tertiary eye care center.
Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT)
The Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) program, spanning 3-4 years, offers a comprehensive curriculum covering anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, hematology, and immunology.
Bachelor in Operation Theatre Technology (BOTT)
A Bachelor in Operation Theatre Technology (BOTT) is an undergraduate degree program that prepares students to work in operation theaters and support surgical procedures.
Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT)
The Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) program, spanning 3-4 years, offers a comprehensive curriculum covering anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, hematology, and immunology.
Minimum Qualification : 10+2 from a recognised board with science as the stream.
Minimum Passed Percentage : 50%, 45% for SC & ST
Age Requirement : 17 years or above
